Gokarna

Formed at the centre of confluence of two rivers Gokarna with its number of temples, alleys and vast expanse is a curious mixture of tradition and beauty. For Indian tourists it is a religious place while the international tourists come here lured by the vast stretches of beaches of Gokarna. Hindus perform their last rites in Gokarna and it is considered equal to visiting Kashi.

the languages are kannada speak about 55 to 60% of population & konkani about 30 to 35% of population

    owner just trying to make money worst service ever and he did not even returned our deposit for rooms and extra charged us, he seen we are hindi guys in starting he talked very well and given us one room for freshen up which didnt had electricty smelly room, in afternoon he suppose to give us one deluxe room with one extra bed but he started shouting and gave us two room for which he charged us double and next day dont even returned our deposit started shoting in kannada again and we asked for bill for temp room for which he charged same as his deluxe room he was only shouting in kannada and took out his big stick to throw us out, the receptionist was also telling us he is mad dont argue sir just go, they were just making money
